Shino Vase in Pearls

This small vase was a canvas for experimenting with surface design.  The lower portion of the vase features pressed dimples using an acorn (negative space) and the upper portion features slip trailing using dots of black slip.  The whole piece is glazed in a glossy shino glaze.
